This multidisciplinary project consisted in provide an integrated solution, including engineering, as well as planning and execution of the improvements implemented in the agglomeration line, in order to achieve the required production levels. CHK-ING developed the conceptual and basic/details engineering, including technical documentation for the bidding of the service packages, constructability analysis and technical support to the project team during assembly.
This Chloride Leaching project consisted of designing and executing modifications to the existing plant, in order to process secondary sulfides leached in a chlorinated medium, obtaining a higher copper recovery kinetics. As part of the Owner Team, CHK-ING provided support to project management and governance, in addition to the engineering review and constructability analysis for the DPS stage. Later, during construction, provided the field engineering service.
This corresponds to a chalcopyrite leaching project. Its objective is to process chalcopyrite using hydrometallurgy, thus extending the useful life of the existing plant. Given this scenario, the project considered considerable modifications, such as the ripios dump capacities. As part of the Owner Team, CHK-ING provided support to project management and governance, in addition to the multidisciplinary engineering review for the SPS stage. This review covered the disciplines of Process, Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Piping and Instrumentation.
The project consisted of the total replacement of a stacking bridge, as well as a partial replacement for a second stacking bridge. The project included the construction of two platforms for the assembly of the equipment, and a structural monitoring system during the operation of the older stacker. As part of the Owner Team, CHK-ING provided support to project management and governance, in addition to the multidisciplinary engineering review for the SPS stage. This review covered the Structural, Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation disciplines.
The project consisted of increasing the capacity of the ripios dump, in order to ensure the operational continuity of the plant. The study considers geotechnical tests to determine the stability of the dump, among others. As part of the Owner Team, CHK-ING provided support to project management and governance, in addition to the multidisciplinary engineering review for the SPS and DPS stage. This review mainly covered the Civil discipline.
The project consisted of the design, construction and commissioning of a plant to process primary sulfides through conventional flotation, with the objective of producing 835 kton of copper concentrate per year. As part of the Owner Team, CHK-ING carried out the support to the project management, in addition to the multidisciplinary engineering review for the EXE stage in regard to early works. This scope covered the management of contracts for roads, buildings, warehouses and water treatment plants, among others.
The project consisted of the repair of the Sulfide Raffinate Ponds, ILS Oxides, PLS Oxides, ILS Sulfides, PLS Sulfides, DPLS Dump and Feed Dump, which presented operational problems. As part of the Owner Team, CHK-ING performed the project management support, in addition to the engineering review for the SPS / DPS / EXE stages. The scope included the purchase management for automated leak monitoring systems, and a redesign of the discharge to the reservoir, among others
This chloride leaching project consisted of conceptually exploring the possibility of implementing this process for Los Bronces, and assessing the impact of the modifications to the existing plant. CHK-ING carried out the conceptual engineering for this project, incorporating technical and project evaluation aspects. The project risk analysis and the corresponding workshops related to the project program and CAPEX were included in the scope.

As part of the Owner Team, CHK-ING performed the project management support, in addition to the engineering review for the SPS / DPS / EXE stages. Within the scope, a redesign of the discharge to the reservoir was included.
This project consists of the analysis of different options to open access to the area of exploitation of new mineral resources in Cerro Colorado, in addition to evaluate water supply alternatives, extending its operation beyond 2023. As part of the Owner Team, CHK-ING carried out support for project management and governance, in addition to the engineering review for the IPS stage.
This chloride leaching project consisted of conceptually exploring the possibility of implementing this process for Franke, and assessing the impact of the modifications to the existing plant. CHK-ING carried out the Conceptual Engineering for this project, incorporating technical and project evaluation aspects. The project risk analysis and the corresponding workshops related to the project program and CAPEX were included in the scope.
